Oneg Shabbat - Ken means "nest" or "nido" in Hebrew. Our ken was a place where we returned regularly. Every Friday night we came to celebrate an Oneg Shabbat. These evenings we would be dressed in clean uniforms and start with a sicha (conversation) led by a madrich and related to Israel or Zionism. We would follow with various circle games; playing "telephone" was always popular. The evening would always conclude with extensive Israeli folk dancing, until we were ready to droop. This picture was taken on the roof.
